The policies of the McKenzie County Public Library are put into place by the Library Board so that Library staff and Library patrons will know the rules and responsibilities in regards to the Library.
Library policies are the guidelines that Library administration follows during any decision making process.
All policies adopted by the Library Board are done so in accordance with the McKenzie County Public Library's Mission Statement:
The McKenzie County Public Library promotes the success of the communities of McKenzie County by providing resources and services in a variety of formats to meet the informational, supplemental educational, and recreational needs of McKenzie County residents.
