April 9th through April 13th is a special time for libraries across the United States.

We’re excited to reveal our line-up!

All week long, when you return overdue items, the fines on those items will be WAIVED! That’s right, POOF! No fines!

Monday April 9th: Expect a post on our social media pages looking into National Library Week itself, complete with a shout-out to the new libraries in our book-lovin’ country!

Tuesday April 10th: We’ll be thanking all our wonderful patrons who have donated an astounding number of books and movies to enrich our library’s collection. We will also have the guidelines of what exactly your library looks for in donations.

Wednesday April 11th is NATIONAL BOOKMOBILE DAY!

We’ll be playing a nifty interactive game of I-Spy with you on that day. Keep your eyes peeled around Watford City for our beautiful bookmobile. If you spot it, hop on board for your chance to look for a Golden Ticket! Finding one of these shiny tickets ensures you will win a prize.

Thursday April 12th: The library will be holding a very special library-filled Storytime that morning at 11:30am. We will also have a “Booktable Blowout!” Come into the library with a bag, and buy any 5 books on our sale table for just $1.00 !!!

Friday April 13th: We’ll end this week with a flourish! This day at 6pm, the library will be holding an Author Book Talk with local author Sara Lawrence Cook, co-author of The Jinn and the Sword. This tale of intrigue, mystery, romance, and supernatural shivers is full of relevant themes and beauty galore. Come prepared to learn and enjoy!

There’s always something to see, do, or read at your library! We’ll see you soon!
